Each of us is the sum of our experiences in life. The secret in discovering how those experiences interrelate is first having the opportunity to explore life. The opportunity to see what can be done rather than focus on what cannot. This is especially true when it comes to individuals with disabilities. Too many times people, like Mark, are limited in what they are allowed to do, what they are allowed to experience. Fortunately for Mark, with the help of his parents and family, he has seen his dreams come true. He has become an effective advocate for people with disabilities. He is living proof that there is more to an individual than their disability.
